Northland's contributions:
Living in Northeast Michigan our employees are sensitive to the needs of the communities we serve, including the environment. Here are some of the activities we participate in:
- Distributed 300 blue spruce seedlings to members during a new facilities promotion
- Northland is a member of the Arbor Day Foundation
- Adopt a Highway participant in Oscoda for 19 years
- Adopt a Highway participant in Mio for 3 years
- Recycle all shredded/destroyed credit union documents
- Recycle ink cartridges for a food for the poor program
- Currently changing incandescent light bulbs to energy efficient florescent light bulbs where possible
