Signature loans are unsecured loans that are approved on the good standing of the member and based on purpose and credit history. Requests for this loan product include purposes of auto repairs, small purchases, vacations, emergencies or debt consolidation.

Line of Credit
A Northland Line of Credit can give you the flexibility and peace of mind you need and want. A Line of Credit is an open-ended unsecured loan with the member’s signature used as collateral. This loan is designed for the member who borrows regularly. Individual credit limits are established when the member initially applies for the loan and is based on the individual’s credit history and ability to repay the debt. The amount of the payment will be determined by the balance of the loan and the rate in effect after an advance is taken.

Student Loans
Northland offers two types of Student Loans:
- Stafford Loan - Repayment does not start until six months after you graduate or leave school.
- Federal Plus Loans - The parents of the dependent undergraduate student can borrow up to the cost of the education less any financial aid.
Youth Loans
Northland offers Youth Loans in hopes of creating a long-term relationship with our young members.
- Members must be full time students from age 13-17.
- The loan amount is available from $50 to $500.
- Northland also offers a Student Visa as an opportunity for students to start building credit early.
