Shared Branch
Shared Branch transactions are now even easier and more secure! When you visit a Shared Branch, you'll follow these simple steps:
- In order to access shared branch out of state, you must have a smart phone to scan the QR code in branch and verify your identity prior to conducting your transaction. Scan the QR code located in the branch or visit verify.coop.org.
- Select your credit union's name from the drop-down list.
- Enter your member number and the last four digits of your social security number.
- Upload a photo of your ID and take a selfie (Tip: Save your validation for an even quicker experience next time).
- Show your one-time password to the teller (this passcode is valid for 20 minutes).
This additional layer of authentication, called IDCheck, helps to verify your identity for various transactions, including loan payments, cashier's checks, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and account inquiries.
Important Security Reminder: Please remember that we will never call you and ask you for any verification codes. If you receive a suspicious call, hang up immediately. If you have any questions, please call Northland directly at 989-739-1401.
